Singapore

Hello, everyone~

This is a little bit of a different post than usual, because I am reviewing a product from  PHOTOWALL , a Swedish based company that creates wall murals and canvases out of environmentally friendly material. Their PR reached out to me, and they were so kind and quick with their customer service. I ended up choosing a canvas, and right after I ordered, I got an email that it was being printed, and within 24 hours, it was shipped. It actually arrived within two days (super fast service!), but I couldn't make it home to sign for the package, so I had to reschedule with DHL to deliver about a week later, when I knew I could stay home. Here are the contents of my box:

Despite being in Theatre for all four years of my high school career and also doing lots of behind-the-scenes things for student council, I am definitely not a handy-woman. I can handle myself around wood and nails and hammering, but I'm not the one you should trust if you have an alternative. The canvas comes separately from the frame, so I have to do the frame myself.

The frame is supposed to come with easy-to-follow instructions, so this is how I faired:

Voila!

Not bad, if I did say do myself. It took me about 20 minutes in all to not kill myself and the canvas, so I'd give it a thumbs up.  The canvas came rolled, and I didn't have the common sense to make sure it was completely flat before framing, so the dents are definitely user error, rather than manufacturer error. That is a tip for you if you are planning to buy a canvas!

I personally chose this canvas of the Singapore skyline because it is a place I wished I was at, but I wasn't. I know that sounds like 10,000 Shades of Vague, but hey, I can't reveal all my secrets online.

All in all, I really liked PHOTOWALL. The customer service was great, and the shipping was extremely fast. I am very pleased with the quality of the canvas, and the prices seem very reasonable. They allow you to customize the sizing and even cropping, which is great, because you can get it to fit a space perfect for your living space. I actually also really loved their wall mural designs (which are wallpapers), but had to pass it up. I have read many reviews about how easy they are to put up; not only are they cut to fit perfectly for your wall, but they are also numbered so you can get a perfect, continual design! I unfortunately don't have a tall enough ladder to let me put wall paper up, and I plan on leaving my current place soon, so it's not too practical. However, I do definitely want to order a set from them once I settle down in my next destination and have the resources to put it up!

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!

Because you are lovely subscribers and readers, PHOTOWALL  has offered a 20% off coupon code for you if you would like to check them out: pwsharonssewancampaign2017 (wow, that's a long code). It expires January 31st, so get it quickly!

**Disclaimer: I was approached, as mentioned in the post, by Photowall to review their products. This does not affect my opinion of the product and service itself. I am not getting paid for you to use the coupon code, if helping someone get their bills paid is something you are against, so feel guilt-free when using the coupon code!
