Day 3 - 25 Days of Christmas Giveaway

Today's challenge is to take a photo of my favourite holiday treat, but to be honest, I am not too much of a sweets person. I am surprisingly quite picky about what foods I eat. One thing I never get tired of are apples, and Disneyland had the cutest candied apples, so here you go!

But that aside, since this is the first weekday of this giveaway series, I want to go ahead and post my annual "Why I Do This Giveaway" post.

Christmas is a great time to of year to reflect on the previous 365 days, and be thankful for the people we've met, and the circumstances that made us grow as human beans. I know that Thanksgiving is technically THE holiday for that, but Christmas is literally one week from the New Year's. Maybe there are some new things that need to be squeezed into your thankful list since Thanksgiving!

Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Christ, and the ultimate gift that God gave us -- salvation through the death and resurrection of His One and Only Begotten Son. I don't have as glorious of a gift to give, but I want to give what I can back to my lovely followers, in remembrance of this gift of salvation.

I know that some of my readers are not Christian, and some may even be bitter against the church. Even if you do not believe in the Gospel message: 1. God created human beans, and because we disobeyed God, we became hell-bound

2. He came in flesh as Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins so that we can have salvation and return to Heaven for eternity after earthly death

3. He lives within us in the form of the Holy Spirit to guide us, and we will be given salvation through accepting Him into our lives.
